In XP Home you only get 1 language... as I discovered when I tried to turn my father's PC from French to English (he bought it in France but speaks English as a native language). Change language =%26gt; buy a new copy of XP.
For XP Pro you need the (corporate site license clients only) multilanguage extension otherwise XP Pro is supposed to be monolingual.
Did you reboot at the end of the install process? Otherwise I don't understand how your PC was multilingual.Windows xp?

then click the icon having a pivture of globe
then select US in the first tab
and also US in the second tab
