my friend came from france he has laptop in that windows xp is installed but it is in french version and language is in french but i want to change it into english language how can i change. i do not have original CD. pl help meLanguage change instead of france to english in SONY laptop in windows xp?
You will need to purchase a windows xp CD. You can buy one at any electronics store. Just install windows xp in English and that's it. Of course if control panel were to work then you would not have to buy anything but I am guessing that when the manufacture computers in France, they do not give a English option because not many french people speak English.Language change instead of france to english in SONY laptop in windows xp?

at the desktop, near the clock, there should be the 'language' bar. u can see this by clicking EN.
click this and a bar will show up. select english UK or USA.
