How do I change my Windows XP Language from Spanish to English?

Okay, here's the situation. A little while ago i was infected with a virus so badly that the only option to resolve the problem was to reinstall the operating system. I ordered the software retrieving software from Acer (who made my laptop) and used it and luckily it worked. But after i did this my computer switched from English to Spanish. I have tried installing another version of XP in English, but then the system ignores all my other parts, like the built in wireless receiver, audio and video cards, and USB ports, so I went back to Spanish. I tried working with the language options but to no avail, and every time I change the language bar to English, nothing happens, the text still stays in Spanish. Don't suggest the initial virus is doing this, because I know that I cleared that out, and don't suggest I just learn Spanish. In short; PLEASE HELP ME!!! I'll be very grateful for any help you can provide. How do I change my Windows XP Language from Spanish to English?
changing the language in the language bar doesn't affect the whole OS (it affects only keyboard). You have to re-install windows in English and then find drivers (software) for your hardware. If you are not capable of doing this, find a professional. How do I change my Windows XP Language from Spanish to English?

I guess that if you've got the Acer recover CD-Rom then wipe all the h/d contents and start again.
