i just bought a cheap laptop at a putter fair but iut in german and i cant get it on.....how do i change it to english?Help to change language in windows xp?

hey. its very simple, go into start pannel and then go to control pannel the icon with the tick mark, now go into regional and language option the icon with the globe... now go on the languages the second tab and hit the desired language ticks, in my opnion tick both of them!!!Help to change language in windows xp?

Open Regional and Language Options.
Click the Languages tab.
Ensure Supplemental language support items are checked.
Click the Advanced tab.

click the start button at the lower left f the screen go to the control pannel and if you cant under stand it has a little picture on the side of it that has a check point on it with a pen tha once you get to the control pannel you will see the earth and a calender it says date,time,language,and options once you give that a click it will take you to a thing that says pick a task but of corse you cant see it so its just in big black letters at the top of the page click on the last one that says choose languages once you click on it another one pops up and has two little boxes for you to click on to check but DON'T go to the first one and there will be a little list for you to choose languages that click on english!!! i hope it works and i hope helped!! :)
