You don't really have to change the fonts, unless she is trying to use Word to, for example, write a letter or document. Then, follow the instructions the answerer above provided.
Otherwise, for browsing, you could set up an easy route for her to get on Yahoo Thailand. Just go to the Yahoo homepage, then click on Y! International at the bottom left of the page, then click on Thailand. This will bring up the Yahoo Thailand home page, and from there all web browsing will be in Thai. When you are on the homepage, you can right click and select Create Shortcut to create a shortcut for your Mom to easily get onto her site.
